Yala National Park is the most visited and second largestnational park inSri Lanka. The park consists
of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public and also adjoining parks. The blocks have
individual names such as, Ruhuna National Park (block 1) and Kumana National Park or 'Yala East' for
the adjoining area. It is situated in the southeast region of the country, and ies inSouthern
Province and Uva Province . The park covers 979 square kilometres (378 sq mi) and is located about
300 kilometres (190 mi) from Colombo . Yala was designated as awildlife sanctuary in 1900, and,
along with Wilpattu was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in
1938. The park is best known for its variety wild animals. It is important for the conservation ofSri
Lankan elephants,Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds.
Nuwara-eliya is known as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka. The journey will take you through some of
Sri Lanka’s beautiful scenic locations. Enjoy the drive through green carpeted areas of tea plantations.

backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls & Tea Plantations – offers beauty unlimited.
After breakfast continue to Kandy.
En-route visit Seetha Amman Temple & Hakgala Botanical Graden, with its amazing verities of trees,
plants and flowers & Reputed to be one of the best in the world with its hundreds of verities of Roses
and Orchids.
By evening, visit the Temple of the tooth Relic & a Kandyan cultural show.
After breakfast proceed to Colombo.
En-route, visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. There you can see the bottle feeding of baby
Elephants. See them at play. Accompany them to a river close by to see them having their daily bath.
After breakfast, you will be on sightseeing & shopping tour of Colombo.
Observing the old Parliament, the colonial buildings in the Fort area, the residential areas and the
BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall). The tour continues with a visit to
Captains Garden Hindu Temple, Colombo Museum and the Independence Square [locations could be
adjusted on Request].
Shopping is never an end in Colombo. Shopping tour inclusive of a visit to the Majestic City shopping
Complex, ODEL Unlimited Dress Boutique, House of Fashion, Ceramic cooperation show room
(Noritake), Barefoot Gallery and Lakmedura handicraft Emporium & “The Factory Outlet” Store.
Return to hotel by evening.
